In my personal work, I have been exploring motion graphics through traditional hand-drawn and risograph printed animation. Blending analog and digital in this way has been exciting and has been an in road to thinking about creative ways to combine motion and print. Here are a few of my favorite recent projects.

Opportunities for Growth is a short animated story. All frames are hand drawn and printed in flat gold on a risograph machine, before being scanned and digitally sequenced.

Slow Nights Run Club was my first attempt at risograph animation, and I then sequenced the same 8 frames of hand-drawn illustrations into the Slow Nights Cafe setting to create motion across the screen.

Reference Center was a cafe opened in partnership between Pocket DB. and Paper Pushers in August 2026. This animation was used for promotional purposes to announce the partnership.
